For my loving Step Dad Jamie who brought me up as his own and who i thought of as my Dad. I hope this donation helps in some way to helping fund further research into COPD and perhaps one day finding a cure. To see someone you love go from being a healthy, happy go lucky, cheeky chappie into someone who couldn't even climb the stairs without getting seriously out of breath and feeling miserable because of it isn't nice to see. To many Jamie grinned and beared it as much as he could, continuing to help he's friends and family despite being seriously ill himself and ignoring advice to stay at home on the days he didn't feel well! It was only when he was at home, did he let on how ill he felt. If there is one thing he taught me (and he taught me many things!), it would be not to smoke. In fact he used to say when i was a teenager, that if he ever caught me smoking, he would never let me out again! If you do smoke, please strongly consider quitting, i appreciate it's not always easy, Jamie tried many times himself, but i wouldn't want anyone to go through what he went through.
